An undead creature formed when one survives being bitten by a werewolf and a vampyre at the same time. Survival is pretty rare.
Since vampyres tend to dominate lycanthropes, a vorcolac tends to look like a hairier vampire, but it can also transform into an anthropomorphic werewolf or a monstrous two-headed wolf form with bat wings and vampyric abilities (e.g., the ability to turn into a flock of bats or fog, the ability to run up walls and across ceilings, etc.). Vorcolacs are unstable and have been known to have split personalities that the other is completely unaware of; the split identities tend to be a werewolf and vampyre persona, respectively.

Monster hunter Lord Heinriech der Hexenhammer was turned into a vorcolac by the Bloody Barons. He is mentioned in Dreadknights and appears in Dreadknights 2. He uses a varcolac's ability to enthrall other undead to control the necrotized members of Neverdeath.
